A necessity in a car-oriented world, we see parking structures as an important part of the architectural infrastructure of our cities and towns. Like the viaducts and bridges that take their place within a fabric of streets and buildings, our work in this building type shows that the parking garage can be integrated into our lives without disrupting the character and scale of the built or natural environments.

Our parking structures acknowledge the economic and contextual parameters that define them. We design in a sense of safety, with clear paths of circulation for parkers, well-lit and glazed lobbies visible from the ground, and good sightlines.
